Hey all, just joined the site. Tons of great information on here! I just recently purchased a 72 gmc lwb stepside pickup for 2000 bucks. Selling point was the engine, as I really had my mind set on a shortbed. Slowly but surely it has grown on me. It started off as a plain jane 72 gmc, typical rotted wood in bed, but with a really nice powertrain. 355 with double hump heads, hedmans, regular intake (performer), triple springs and an edelbrock 600cfm. It also has a th-400 with a 2800 stall and a 3.42 posi rear end. When I first got it, the very first thing I did was slap on the included tunnel ram and remote coil setup. Not the best performer with that 600. 2 weeks later the rear frame caved....
