I didn't think that 4x4 came with it, might have though.
If you aren't into staying 100% original then a newer steering box would be the way to go. Nice truck, only 1400 or so short fleet 4x4's made that year. Any more pics?

I had no idea that the 67 -68 no bump on the frame 4X4 could come with ram assist. I have seen them on 11/4 and up commercial trucks and vans.
I have both a 67 swb 4x4 and a anniversary 68 1/2 burb would like to go with this set up. Anybody have pix? I have gathered quite a few ram sets and a few tie rod bars with holes for a steering sabilixer thinking I could make this set up. sounds god didn't mean to hijack your thread but if my stuff could work, depending, there would be enough for yours..... I may be picking up a 68 Swb 4x4 in a couple weeks. I'm not sure what it has for options yet and if it has a title or not. If it doesn't have a title and its going to be parted, and has PS I will keep you in mind. So, its a long shot, but who knows.
