Anybody else make a rear slip driveshaft other than CPP?
I have a 71 LWB truck and need a slip driveshaft for my truck. It's the driveshaft that runs from the carrier bearing back to the rear axle. I see that CPP makes one but was wondering if anyone else sell one as well.
Thanks |

Re: Anybody else make a rear slip driveshaft other than CPP?
my local drive shaft shop quoted me 700 to upgrade to a 3inch tube, with all new 1350 series joints from tranny yoke to pinion yoke with carrier bearing installed, to include making a slip joint style

My truck is bagged. The style carrier bearing I'm using require a slip drive shaft between the carrier bearing and rear axle to compensate for the up and down travel of the suspension.

OK just thought I would ask. Mine is a LWB with a static drop with a stock drive shaft. Just wanted to know.
