Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
How much farther does the driver wheel stick out? These older vehicles are sometimes just off from the factory due to tolerances back in the day.

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
I would take some measurements, using the frame as a reference point. This may help you determine what is off.
Another thing, is to measure and make sure the backspace on both wheels is the same. I am assuming they are, but you never know, especially if they were put on by the previous owner. The link below will show how how backspace is measured, as well as some other wheel information. https://www.azproperformance.com/Whe...formation.html |

Are you sure your wheels have the same backspacing?

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
it might just be the picture but it almost looks like that is a 10" wheel on the front and an 8" wheel in the back.

its not the wheel size. I checked that just now. A pic to give you some reference.

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
The driver side a-arm has definitely taken a hard hit near it's pivot point. I would be checking everything around that area. As far as the pics, when showing a comparison for others to see/help with, try & take similar photos of each side. That one shot of just the pass a-arm isn't telling much so more pics would be better. After that....
How thick are the shim stacks for the upper a-arms @ each location (driver front, driver rear; pass front, pass rear)? Did you dismount the wheels from the hubs & verify each were the same size & backspacing? Is this how you bought the truck or was something changed (pics look like the front end has not been touched but it's worth asking the question)?

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
The frame is bent and/or it shifted the body over during impact (depends on angle of impact).

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
I have a similar issue, though just 1/2". If the frame was bent wouldn't the wheels be bent the same as the body mount points? So no differences seen left and right? If you look at your front bumper and inspect the inside gap from front fender to inside bumper at the end curve, is there a difference in gaps left and right? If the bumper is not gapped the same then I'm thinking it's body algnment on the frame, becouse the bumper (in good condition) is an extention of the frame.

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
I have the same problem. I was told GM did not take the time to measure and center the frontend. Just threw them together. Mine does not stick out as much but I can tell the difference from passenger side to driver side.

Re: A little update on how my C10 sits
Are you sure there isn't a backsliding problem. I'm not trying to be rude or correct you or nothing, but it sure looks like a lot of rim showing up front. You got that baby low tho, looks killer.
