Fuel volume question after carb install
I just installed an Edelbrock 1406 on my 77 K10 and with the carb came a clear bulb fuel filter. One thing I've noticed is that the bulb isn't always full in fact sometimes there is barely any trickling in there, this is of course while it's running. I haven't noticed any performance issues but I was expecting the bulb to be full of fuel constantly. I have a stock mechanical fuel pump. Is this normal?

Re: Fuel volume question after carb install
Unless the fuel is draining from the carb bowls, this isn't an issue.

Re: Fuel volume question after carb install
That's normal on almost every vehicle I've ever used a clear fuel filter, car, truck, boat, or motorcycle.
The only time I've ever seen 100% full is when I had a boat and the fuel filter was pointed straight up, so it HAD to fill completely with fuel.
