brake chamber
1974 gmc 6500 w/F090 front axle. Any idea what brake chamber fits this truck? I think its a type 16 but I am not sure. Any info would be great. Thanks

Should be a type 16 remove the diaghram and look in the center will have a
stamp with the size.

There are no markings on it. Only diaphram says 16. Do you have a part#-brand that is a direct fit? There are a lot of different type 16 brake chambers.

Thats the stamp its a type 16. What is wrong with the old one leaking? If its just leaking just replace the diaghram you can get it at napa. Tell them you need a single pod type 16 brake chamber diaghram make sure its standard stroke.

Here it is you sometimes have to cut the rod to the same length as the old one.

Thank you. One of the chambers broke a spring, other wise I would of just replaced diaphram.
