Having grown up in snow country, it was pretty common to see tow trucks plowing in the winter. When I was a kid, New York City used their garbage trucks (and their drivers) as plows. Of course now, they probably have to buy $million custom-made vehicles because of some state or federal regulation...what the heck, it's just other peoples' money... |
