GM Total Information Package - Your Truck
If you take this string (without the quotes) and change the year to the year of your truck,
"http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Chevrolet-Trucks/1973-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf" you will get all the info you could ever want to know. Thanks to Keith Seymore, GM Full Size Truck Engineering

Re: GM Total Information Package - Your Truck
Best info yet on differences between my 78 Heavy Half and regular C-10- C-15. One thing it doesn't mention. Good post.

Re: GM Total Information Package - Your Truck
One thing it doesn't say, larger gas fill tube for regular gas nozzle. (guess I stopped in mid thought above until I run over and look at neighbors C-10 filler) There is tons of mis info re differences. Might make a page with FOR SURE, FACTUAL DIFFERENCES. When I counted only 34 teeth on ring gear I started investigating. Found out rear ends are 34-10 for 3.40 and 34-11 for 3.09. GMC Heavy Half-Chevy Big Ten.
