Requesting Pics
I'm considering having the bottom only of my bed sprayed with line-x. I'm hoping some can post pics of their trucks like this?? I would really appreciate it. Merry Christmas everyone.

Re: Requesting Pics
The brush on ones are not the same. Its like comparing Rustolium to Glasurit. An over the counter that is a close 2nd to Line X is made by U-Pol and is called Raptor. They sell the kit for roughly $125.00 & it will do just the bottom of your bed. The advantage of Line X is it goes on hot and cures quickly. They can also apply it as thick as you want. Advantage #2 with Line X is them cleaning up the mess ;-)

I considered spraying the bottom of my Suburban with the spray in liner but went with an epoxy primer and undercoating instead. Even at my cost, I would have been over $300.00 in bedliner materials.

Re: Requesting Pics
Line-X is in a completely different class than apply-it-yourself kits are.
The entire interior of my fire truck is Line-X. You can't hurt the stuff. Years of big corn fed firemen with axes and air packs and all manners of crap to bang, gouge, and generally destroy stuff and it still looks fantastic. And I have used the home kits. I think Raptor is the top of the heap in quality. But, regardless, Raptor can't hold a candle to Line-X even on its best day. Apples to oranges.

Re: Requesting Pics
But we want to see photos! Where are the photos????? I've considered doing just the bottom of my truck. That Is why I'm getting in on this thread. Has anybody lineX'd just the raised parts of the floor? Considered that way too. Photos would most appreciated.

Re: Requesting Pics
I've used the Raptor in my shop on Mark's 66 and we use it all the time at DSE. I think it works great but Line-X is better.

we put herculiner in the kids swb fleet. we didnt do the floor since we put new oak in. so we did all the inner walls tubs in the bed with three coats and used the whole gallon. it looked good for a year or two but it really got sun faded(not a real big deal it can be painted) but it looks really thin compared to the good stuff. if your gonna do it do it right dont cheep out you'll regret it. it seems to me dang near anytime you buy "a kit" nowadays its either cheap junk or they give you just enough to barely get the job done.

Used rhino on the underneath of my 70 Challenger. Prepped it and primed it and the lining is flaking off in places

Re: Requesting Pics
I literally just saw a build thread with a blue truck where only the bottom of the bed was done, but can not remember which it was. Looked cool though.
