Re: nos - black steering wheel

I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago. I bought a take off wheel on eBay for the same price you are asking so this is a steal!

Re: nos - black steering wheel

I'll take it, pending a couple better pictures of the grain on the outer center spokes and around the top of the rim of the wheel. Closer & better focus please. thanks, frank

Re: nos ??? or excellent used- black steering wheel

It has been brought to my attention that the grainy part isnt as grainy as a nos should be? I've always heard that the repops were more grainy than the nos wheels, but im not sure! so i am selling this wheel as ??? "EXCELLENT USED?" original gm wheel. NOTE.. if its not nos then its close to it. Thx dave.

"USED GM STEERING WHEEL AND NOT NOS"

I am sorry i should have looked closer, i bought this as nos in the box and i guess im too trusting! so, selling a good used black steering wheel for an adjusted price of....250.00

That's probably how Dave wound up with a used wheel in a new box?

Re: nos - black steering wheel

Nice wheel. Too bad it wasn't the purple unicorn! By the way, any of the small blemishes can be sanded down and then wet sanded and buffed out for a like-new appearance on the smooth portions of the wheel. And $250 is a good price. Good luck on your sale. It shouldn't be around long.

Re: nos - black steering wheel

I'd be interested, but $250 is a little steep for me. I've been on the hunt for one for my '70 daily driver.

Just in case you have not had a chance to read the Buyers Code of Conduct, item number VI. states:

VI.If you do not like the price of an item, look further. Comments on value, condition etc will not be tolerated.

Driver condition wheels come up quite often. This is an above average wheel and is priced right according to many knowledgeable members' opinions. Good luck on your search.

Re: nos - black steering wheel

I wasn't saying I didn't like the price, I was just making a comment that I couldn't afford it right now, even though I would really like it. It is a very nice steering wheel. Worth every bit of $250. It won't last long on this board.
