Re: 1972 lwb project decision.
I get it. You guys r probably tired of me a little bit. I probably wont buy wheels for my truck anyway. Ive been dead set on fixing the old truck to driveable condition for years. That was while I was driving it. I wanted an everyday vehicle that was easier on gas and that is more modern so I bought a 6 cyl. Ford escape xlt. Being a chevy man most my life, I was skeptical at first but the escape is a damn good little vehicle after all I put it through. I started driving the escape and parked the c10. I havent neglected it. I start it up and move it once a month and bought a 4 ply cover to put over it. The facts are I dont drive it anymore. The escape is much better in the winter and since it saves me a bunch on gas, I always dreamed of seein the c10 with a brand new blue paintjob and shiny big wheels. Fact remains theres about $10,000 to invest in the chevy to make it how I dreamed! Making it a $15,000 truck that would sit outside in my yard. I dont have a garage and it seems stupid of me to invest so much in a truck that I dont drive everyday. Im so lost on what to do, is it true Ive traded my chevy for a ford and am happier? Please say it aint so lol!
