Wheels of Steel

Once again I've come to realize parts I have gathered and stashed for future projects are probably better off in the hands of someone else and give needed funds toward my '67 GMC project that's going nowhere. I don't have any more K/5s,sold my K/10 SWB last year, went with 8-lug axles on my '85 Jimmy, and a '67 Stepside I bought last summer I decided to let go because it was far from being a driver and would only put me farther from getting anywhere on the '67 GMC. I also doubt I'll be getting another C/20,so I have a set of wide 8-luggers to sell as well. I always worry I'll never find others later, but I may never even have the need.

Prices are +shipping from Maryland payable by postal money order. These are heavy,so cost of shipping is something to consider. I'll ship Greyhound to anyone that can work with that.

#1: 6-lug 2) 15 x 6 & 2) 15 x 8....................$275>SOLD

#2: 6-lug 2) 15 x 10/Widened 8s..................$125>SOLD

#3: 6-lug 4) 15 x 8....................................$375>SOLD

#4: 8-lug 2) 16.5 x 8.25...........................$100 <Available ........Sale pending on 2) 16.5 x 9.75s

Looks like I was uploading pics while you posted. I edited the lug count on the first post. I originally had the title "6-luggers For Road Huggers" then decided to list the 8-lugs,too,so changed the title. The answer is Yes

Just to be clear, how much for just the two 15 x 6 rims to 30606?
…looking for a set of four 4-nub.

Thanks

#2: These are 8" wheels widened to 10". I bought from a friend. They came on a '57 Panel converted to 4wd with huge tires. He put it back to 2wd. Another friend bought on pair and say they ride fine.

#4: 9.75" No back side pictures because when I took these pics yesterday it was so cold, although under cover, they were frozen to the gravel. These are very clean. I ran them on a truck in the '80s. They originally came from a friend's '72 C/30 SRW. I can get back side pictures if needed.

Re: Wheels of Steel

Tim,
Can you get me a shipping quote on the 15X10s to 67110.
They will go good with some 15X8s on the front.
Edit...
I'll take them if shipping's around $40-$50.
Mike

Re: Wheels of Steel

I am interested in the number 4 package and a shipping quote to 07646 or as close as you can get. and whats the backspacing on the 9.75's I know they made a few different ones

and how would these fit on a 71 c20 rear. would they tuck at all or look weird and stick out a lot.

All the 15 x 8s and 15 x 10s have 3 3/4" backspace.

Yes. Would they pick-up at my house? I have an independent UPS Store right in town if that makes it cheaper. I guess you'll be getting the quote,so my zip is 21771. Let me know what you decide. FedEx Ground for set #3 to Orlando,CA would be $177.04 for comparison

Fed Ex Ground to Brookings,SD would cost $144.24. Let's see what happens,if that works for you.

The backspacing on the 9.75s is 4 7/8". My friend's single wheel C/30 had a utility body and I've only had these on a K/20 with 37/14.50 mud tires and a 4" lift. They didn't stick out,but I can't say if they'd tuck the tires up into the well on a lowered truck, but they'd be fine on a stock C/20.
FedEx Ground for set #4 to Milford,NJ will cost $88.92

Re: Wheels of Steel

Tim,
They won't pick them up from your place, but I believe that the UPS store can handle this. Either way, I'll take the set of #3's. I'll find out in the morning about shipping from the store, and then get you paid. Please pm your mailing address.
Thanks,
Terry
