Are these NOS GM? Inside Door Handles

I bought these on eBay as "NOS" but I'm not sure that they are. They have "3848873" and "NMF" cast into the back side. I didn't pay NOS prices and the chrome is nice even if they are repops.

I don’t know if they’re OEM or not, but they sure look more like OEM than reproduction by what I have to compare against. My numbers are a bit different, and that may be because they are 1960 production. All of the handles in the first two pictures are original. The bottom handle in the 3rd picture is a reproduction, and has numerous details on the backside that don’t look anything like an original:

3707582 appears in the Chevrolet and GMC parts book for 1960 as well as my 63 preliminary parts book 60-63

That's not the same guy I bought mine from. Like I said, I didn't pay NOS prices.

Ive had these on my shelf for over 5 years, you got me to thinking when you asked. So I went and looked at a bunch of them, these were in the boxes shown.I found a few just like yours and several with out the NMF .Guess we need to look at the back of some reproductions.

No, the ones he bought are not in Boxes. One thing to know about NOS parts. There were several suppliers of parts to GM back in the 50s-60s and 70s. I know several guys selling legitimate parts that were bought DIRECTLY from the supplier, but not from GM. One in particular was a supplier in Kansas city. Many years ago they had an auction selling off tons of emblems , decals , die cast items you name it. Its still original GM but none of it was in boxes. Many of these items have surfaced on eBay and swap meets over the years. There are ways to tell but you need to be aware and ask questions just like anything else. If you don't feel comfortable either ask or don't buy it. Years ago I bought 100 pair of NOS GM rocker moldings for Chevrolets all right from a GM supplier .Nothing was in a wrapper but then I didn't have to pay but pennies on the dollar for the lot. The same moldings are now reproduced but are so thin you can pinch them flat with your fingers. I just bought a set of these same door handles today. Will see.
