1965 Chevy Truck C10
I need some troublshooting tips how to resolve the following:
My Dash Signal indicator (right side) stays on, the Dash Signal indicator (left side) blinks as it should. Both the front left and right and rear left and right signal lights work just fine. I have replaced the flasher (round) thing and checked all the fuses. I'm not sure if it's a ground issue? I've read to clean the surface where the dash indicator light goes in the back of the Dash housing and also clean out the inside of the plug where the light goes in. Any suggestions/tips are appreciated. thank you. Sam Sugar Land, Tx |

Re: 1965 Chevy Truck C10
check the front turn signal bulb socket, sometimes huge bumps in the road jar my front turn signals loose and this causes them not to be grounded in the housing....hope its a easy fix for you.

Also check the wires at the bulb socket and along the hood. My '65 had issues where the wires had broken inside the wire jacket. Ended up replacing the socket that had new wire leads, that were nice and flexible. Solved that problem.

My front hood turn signal wires were shot and grounding to each other and the hood. It's a cheap enough harness to replace the whole thing to the firewall if you want.
