Driver and passenger glass questions
So I have removed my driver side glass and vent glass primarily because it was not rolling up and down properly but they also needed cleaning. I am going to remove the seal and put in new seals which begins the first part of my question. On rockauto they have seals fairly cheap (METRO Part # WR1900 Vent Window Seals Pair R&L; With Division Post Seals; Vent Seal 25-1/2"; Division Post 15-3/4"; Set of 4) for like 24 bucks. Has anyone used these are they worth it etc etc. The only thing I have ever bought from rockauto was a drum brake rebuild kit and it worked really well for me. The second part of this question, the vent window itself, is it able to be removed from the housing and if so how? I cannot seem to just slide the glass out which I had hoped for.

Re: Driver and passenger glass questions
Do a search or look in the FAQ post. I know there is at least one good thread showing the step by step dis-assembly and rebuild of the wing windows.

Re: Driver and passenger glass questions
Found it (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=351471) wing window was the keyword I was missing I was calling it vent window. It was as I expected you take it all apart then the glass will slide right out of the holder piece.
