Fit
I have found a 1966 12 bolt and want to know if it will fit under my 94 exten cab truck. I am hoping it is the same width or a bit narrower !! Does anyone here know for sure or what the actual width of that year is !! Thanks for listening !!!Need to know soon so I can purchase it before someone else does !!

Re: Fit
The 12 bolt out of 66 will be coils instead of springs if it is a Chevy. If it is gmc it will have springs but will not bolt up with out mods. I think it will be 1 3/4 inch narrower but not positive.

Re: Fit
Thanks dwcardfan; Thats what I have been thinking too--just a little bit narrower and I believe that will be fine too. I expected to redo perches and little things(brand new posi and gears in it)so it is really hard to turn down. I think I will grab it and I have located a 6 lug to 5 lug conversion kit on Speedway's site so I think its a great deal(12 bolt) for $150.Thanks again !
