Some of you have helped me before and I really appreciate it. I am back with another question that I can not find the answer to anywhere! What do i need for this hole in the head? there is one on each head towards the rear above the spark plug ports.

Also from the top view any help identifying what I need there would be amazing. Thank you so much guys!

Passenger side head gets a temp sender i. The hole and a plug in the driver side head. Iirc it is 3/4".

On intake manifold:

1. Vacuum port. A fitting screws i to here Depending on your truck its used for trans modulator and or power brakes.
2,3&4 are water outlets for heater. Since the manifold is a universal design, pick the one that works best and plug the other two.
5.oil pressure gauge
6. Ac compressor bracket for long water pump (lwp) engines
7. Alternator bracket for lwp engines

I have the same intake in a car and use port 4 for a mechanical water temp gauge sending unit.

Thanks a ton! so what kind of temp sender goes in the passenger side hole on the head? and just plug the drivers side hole on the head? i think im going to use port #2 for a coolant temp sensor and port #3 for my heater core.

Sorryi meant driver side head gets the temp sensor and pass side gets the plug. If you dont have a sensor already, just visit your local parts store and tell them you need one for whatever your truck is. They are different depending on if you have a temp gauge or light in your dash.

So youre not curious about the bolt holes at 1o'clock and between there and the distrubutor hole?

What kind of temp sensor goes in the head? Is it a coolant temp sensor or oil temp sensor?
