Newbie starting a 65
I have gone thru the rearend replaced every thing but the housing, same on front all new, sand blasted frame , put a mild SBC 350/700r4, split the brake lines and I have a booster from a 87 Chevy 1/2 ton bolted to the firewall , which master cyl. do I need to buy and do I need one of those proportioning blocks? It's all drum/drum stock. All info is welcome

Re: Newbie starting a 65
With that booster you will want to use a master cylinder for a '70 Buick Estate wagon. It is A1 Cardone #10-1363. With a drum/drum system you do not have to use a proportioning valve. The factory applications had a sort of metering block which housed the brake warning switch.
