Problems with Carburator
I have a 72 Custom 10 with a 400 small block with a 600cfm Edelbrock electric choke and the carburator is just fludding itself out, and was wondering if it just needs a rebuild or if there were something i was missing, so any help would be appreciated.

You need a fuel pressure regulator. Edelpukes don't like more than about 4.5 psi of pressure. Even a stock mechanical fuel pump can surpass 4.5 psi. Fuel is probably blowing right past the needle and seat...

Or throw on an Eddy fuel pump PN 1721. A little pricey, but it doesn't need the complexity of a regulator. It will Just Work™. http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/1721/10002/-1
I'd plumb in a temporary fuel pressure gauge first with a tee though before you waste any time and money. See what you got. Most Eddy carbs can handle peaks of up to 5.5 psi. But no more.
