hey guys im lookin for a new tailgate and rear bumper for my stepside, who has the best quality stuff? ive heard of some pretty thin tailgates and dont wanna end up with one of them, so if anyone knows of who has good stuff let me know, thanks....

I got mine from Chevy Duty wiith the stamped letters. I have had no problems with it. For a rear bumper on my step I am using a later model S10 step bumper. I think I have a picture of it. It doesnt stick out past the bedsides like the original.

You want the best quality tailgate?

Cruise on down to your local Chevy dealer's parts counter. Write big check. Get VERY nice tailgate. OEM rules.

lol tx, no chit eh...i priced a couple out and there is a place in alberta that has them for 350 canadian, and the bumpers are 250 canadian..does this sound about right?\

mudder that is a nice looking gate and bumper, i prefer the stock bumper though on a 2wd..but on a 4x4 i think what you have is awesome

I need a tailgate myself, hopefully when I can set aside a little money I'll be able to find one using the good ole boy network.

at pigeon forge i looked at all the bumpers and none of them stood up to the ones tim christian sells so i bought a set of his
