Bench Seat, What ya think?

These are the colors I picked for my interior. Black / Charcoal vinyl. Here is a rendering of the seat that I did in MS Paint. Give me your thoughts!!!! I'm not sure about the 2 black buttons.

Personally I'd go with a factory pattern.

If I went back all original with my truck I would've went with the original interior. My truck is semi custom so I thought I'd add some custom touch to my interior. Here's the truck it's going in.

I don't know what color you dash or carpet is but, the seat would look cool two toned the colors of your truck.

The same black and charcoal vinyl will be throughout the truck. The carpet is black the seat, dash, panels and visors will all be covered with the same vinyl. Charcoal french seam stitching on the black vinyl and black stitching on the charcoal vinyl.

Re: Bench Seat, What ya think?

I like #5 post
a little darker? looks plusher
stitching seems more "styled"
I would think more stiching is better to hold thngs together
no to buttons, catch the button and rip it ...
would prob be annoying anyway, mine were in a 72 car

I also like the two tone thought as your truck and what ever your dash and floor etc. is.

Re: Bench Seat, What ya think?

I think my vote would be for the extra stitching in the secondary color. No on the buttons though. Can you incorporate the stitching in your dash too? I think that would tie it in pretty good. What are you doing for door panels?

The dash will be covered with the black vinyl and stitched with charcoal colored french seam stitching. The door panels will be covered with black vinyl and stitched with charcoal french seam stitching except for above the armrest. Above the armrest where the velour typically is it'll be charcoal vinyl stitched with the same design as in the seat in black stitch.

I figured you probably was but wasn't sure. I like the stitched look. After seeing how yours comes out I may have to rethink a few things on mine.
