66 Chevy c10 stock
Hello I have a 1966 stock Chevy c10 that I recently purchased and have some questions that I haven't been able to find a clear answer on
1 is what is the ring gear size I'm the back for stock with a man trans and a 327 2 has any one here installed a gear vendor gear splitter of so how do you like and is it worth the high expense And finally 3 what are some good farly reasonably priced lower upgrade I'm already looking at doing heads with steel side pipes Thanks for all you inputs I am looking forward to making this truck awsome |

Re: 66 Chevy c10 stock
Welcome to the forum
1) Your truck will have the GM truck 12 bolt which has a ring gear diameter of 8-7/8" 2) I have no experience with the GV. I'm fairly confident that you could switch the trans for a 5 speed of some sort for less $$ 3) There is a thread here about $50 upgrades that should give you plenty of ideas
