Repo Sunvisor

I am installing my Reproduction visor i purchased from Tuckers and I am disappointed with the instructions that came with it.

Has anyone seen info in a build or thread??

Any information would be great. Ive put it together but it getting it located on the body and looking right is where my problem lies.

Here in Australia we don't have anywhere that we can go for advice or parts on these trucks so This site is a life saver.

Thanks Shane

Re: Repo Sunvisor

The instructions with mine were bad and it did not fit well. I ened up bending and reshaping the passenger side so it did not look crooked. I believe others have had similar experience with needing to tweak them to get them to look correct.

Re: Repo Sunvisor

I assume that these are all made by the same manufacturer as the passenger side seems to always be the problem area. I bought one and sent it back due to the way it fit. Then I bought a second one from LMC and it was exactly like the first one. I had a friend come over and we finally got it installed and I think it helped that I had my windshield removed at the time. Neither one of mine came with any instructions but did come with screws.

We centered it on the cab and drilled the holes for the center brace. I put those screws in to hold it in place and worked out from there drilling the holes.

Re: Repo Sunvisor

Here is the best one I could find that shows the visor. Your roof is shorter so it will look a little different. The roof on Big Bertha is off a panel so it is about 4" taller.
