So I've seen mention of this and I know it would require a lot of work. Moving it forward about an inch gets the wheel centered in the fender, right?

Does anyone have any good write-ups of the process involved?

It should be centered without moving anything.... Unless I am missing something.

Has the cab, fenders been off the frame? Maybe slid too far ahead when the mounts were torqued up. You could likely gain close to an inch by loosening mounts and workin it back.

If the truck he's talking about is his avatar? It's like mine and lowered which makes the
non center of the wheel well more pronounced.
Some folks use the aftermarket control arms that have more castor built in and move the wheel forward about 3/4" which make the wheel more centered.

Hotchkis control arms will do the trick.

I think it's more of a visual problem with our trucks when lowered quite a bit.
