Vintage air install on BBC photos needed.
Hello all,
I have decided the next truck project is to add a vintage air ac kit to the ol 70 CST10. They have photos of the BBC brackets online, but I would like to see them installed in our trucks. Help me decide between the 2 different mounting options for my BBC engine. Should I go top mount style or side mount style. I will have to move the alternator to the drivers side when I install the kit. I also have the long water pump pully system currently. I really don't want to have to change the whole system. I also have a lower mounted drivers side power steering pump Installed currently. Please post any and all photos you may have. Thanks in Advance, CST10.

Re: Vintage air install on BBC photos needed.
All the ones I do I run the side mount passenger a/c bracket.. And always put the alterntor on the drivers side (the correct side).. That wat you don't hafta run your hoses across the top of the motor.. Doing it this way also you won't hafta change anything on your power steering..

Are those brackets from vintage air tough? The AC side looks like its a mile away from the engine. Lol. Anyone have pictures of those brackets installed. Please supply them, please.

Re: Vintage air install on BBC photos needed.
Yes they are from vintage air.. The compressor is moved out in that pic but you can adjust the compressor in toward the motored it's all the way out in this pic..
ItsRandy's photo is the same bracket as this one just adjusted in closer to the motor..
