1971 factory short, big block, complete nos restoration

well I bought this 1971 short bed cheyenne from a board member. and very happy with the truck. its a factory short bed 1/2 ton with 402 auto, air, ps,pb, guages rear leaf spring, ect. I recieved 2 build sheets and a great spid to document. all is #'s matching to build sheet, It was born "ochre" but im changing that to "hugger/white. i decided to do that as i like hugger much more!.
I recieved it about 6-8 weeks ago and already have it tore down and body meda blasted and at the paint shop, chassie is all ready powder coated, and ready for assembly! I have been collecting "nos" parts for the last few years so they will come in great timing!

pics below
here i go again!

Ochre or hugger, you couldn't go wrong with a nice canvas like that! I'll be following.

Re: 1971 factory short, big block, complete nos restoration

I Thank everyone for following my restoration and invite everyone to help and guide me in the right direction! As i am aiming for mostly a " factory correct restoration" so if you see me making a mistake please let me know. this site is like a warehouse of information! one thing i am changing is puting the 400 turbo trans on a shelve and installing a 700 r4. i do intend to drive it, the other is hugger/white color.
thanx again, dave
