New Steering column, harness?

I have a new steering column that has a flat harness and my new e-z(not so easy) wiring harness has a different flat-ish/boxy plug.

My question is can I just cut off the harness and use terminals ?

thanks,
John

Re: New Steering column, harness?

I just cut both plugs on mine and spiced them together with two 4 prong connectors. Color matching the wires together I think. Its been awhile. I was going from factory plug to a generic 16 circut painless.
