Instrument Bezel
Working on a new bezel, should I leave the tool marks, or polish the entire thing?

Re: Instrument Bezel
Depends on what compliments the rest of your interior. I have a question, what are you going to do with so many gauges? ( just curious )

Re: Instrument Bezel
That is very unique. Is it aluminum or billet? Just remember how difficult it maybe to clean the none polished surfaces.
Great work so far.

Re: Instrument Bezel
I like it. I personally like the mill marks! With so many gauges, it sorta resembles the cluster of an old fighter plane. would love to see it installed and filled.

Re: Instrument Bezel
Thanks for all the replies. I like the tool paths myself too. I think I'll leave them and just polish the raised areas around the gauges. As for all the gauges, I guess I'm a gauge junkie. Water temp, oil temp, tranny temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, vacuum, fuel level and a clock.

Re: Instrument Bezel
That would be cool with the 'engine turned' or whatever its called in the recessed areas. Sharp either way!

Re: Instrument Bezel
I like that look too. The engine cowling on Lindbergh's "Spirit of St Louis" was done like that. Also caled Damascene-ing.
