Cleaned up the '85
Finally had a good day of weather and gave my '85 a much needed wash job.

It usually does not stay this cold for so long here in Louisiana, This year has been bad. We finally got into the 60's this past weekend. I installed my new gas tank and supports also.

OLD SCHOOL LOW: 78 Short Wide Heavy Half-Ratty Rod at moment. Old 4blt stroked to 383 Vortecs, Weiand, Scat, Hedman 1 5/8, Howards Roller, .495/500, Scorpion. Leaf flip, cut coils. Make do tires and wheels for now. Slip ahead a year? Sold GMC, bought Harley, got all obsessed doing the biker thing, now starting again w 65 SWB, 283,2bbl, 3 on tree. |

The country setting is my front yard, I have 5.5 acres and live in a rural area. I planted all the trees over the years except the big pines.
I have dual tanks and one was leaking, the saddles were in bad shape also. |

Very nice truck! I lived in Monroe/West Monroe for 5 years. I met my EX wife wife there........... She was from Winnfield. I'm glad that part of my life is over
