66 long fleet sons first project
traded for this truck so i could drive it and and tinker, within 5 min of p.o. leaving my 13 yr old sons decided it was his truck and started working on it. lol guess i need another truck

a little work done this morning.as best i can tell the engine is not original to the truck . seems to be a 58 model 283

yes it is still a v8 plenty of power for new driver lol probably do an ls conversion later on. but this one is a 4 barrel and runs great , just need to ditch the th350 and get overdrive for it

Don't know what this is. It is a stewart/Warner piece it was installed between transmission and speedo cable any ideas?

i believe thats a device to make the speed-o read correct .
its good to see another young gun out there. I think that building your first car/truck should be a right of passage you learn to appreciate your cars more if you build them, i know i did. my dad said if you want something to drive you better build it.
