Re: wtb: new ps rag joint ASAP

I thought i counted mine right and was still wrong. The difference all depends on the gearbox youre buying. I had to order a few to make sure i got the right one.

Re: wtb: new ps rag joint ASAP

If it slides on the shaft you should be good.
Post a part number after you confirm it please. I am going to try RockAuto's.

I know the ones you were looking at were Lares.
Does anyone know the Dorman part#
I have a 31015 but doesn't want to slide on and don't want to force if wrong one.
I have the 68-76 P/S box pre metric.
Cal.

The Lares worked like a charm. Slide on easily. Had to tap the bolt a little to het it to slide across the spline/neck but all is good. Now the pulley fiasco is another story...

Re: wtb: new ps rag joint ASAP

The Lares from RockAuto I ordered worked like a charm. Slid on perfectly. The link I posted is the one I ordered.

No tapping required.

Re: wtb: new ps rag joint ASAP

If you can't find the Lares.
I used Dorman #31015.
It was tight and needed to be tapped on.
