Lowering a ZQ8??
Hey so I can't remember what makes the ZQ8 (Xtreme) suspension different, lower. I have 2" Drop Coil springs for a none ZQ8 Truck in my garage, as well as 2" blocks. Obviously the blocks will drop the rear. But I am thinking the front wont drop? Anyone know for sure? I have read that it is the spindle, also read it is the lower control arm has a lower spring pocket? Guy at work claims it is the spring...?

Drop spindles are your best best in the front.

Re: Lowering a ZQ8??
ZQ8 is 2" shorter than a stock truck, 1.5" in the springs and .5" in the tire size being a smaller diameter.
Easier way to drop it would be 2" drop spindles and 2" blocks, keeping the stock springs. If you want to slam it, you'll have to change springs anyway.
