Control knob parts???

I've searched everywhere, does anyone make the nuts that hold on the A/C controls? Did they use these on any other make/model? I'm missing one...

Re: Control knob parts???

Try searching the corvette websites. I know the actual knobs were the same as the 64-66 corvette that are readily available. I actually just ordered some myself. They may have those retaining nuts as well.

Re: Control knob parts???

crazy item right, i too have been looking for the screw but mine is for the thrift air pull control. i went to CL and found a guy willing to sell just the screw. turns out he's a really cool guy shipped it and a 65 C10 gas pedal and didnt take a dime. so if you have time search folks willing to part with it cuz it looks like the same screw.

Re: Control knob parts???

Looks very similar to the 60-63 wiper switch bezels. Wonder if one of those would work. Glad you found the correct part though.

Re: Control knob parts???

No guys those aren't the same thing. The 60-62 corvette ones I ordered are exactly the same but the threaded part is much smaller on our trucks... Good thing Year one charged me 15 dollars shipping for 2 washers.

Re: Control knob parts???

Now I'm really pissed because yearone charged me 16 bucks shipping plus 9 dollars a piece for these and they aren't even the right ones "them being wrong is my fault obviously".. They look exactly the same except the hole is bigger... I didn't even realize they charged me so much for shipping... I just sent a big package full of stuff to Hawaii for 20 bucks... Crooks!

Re: Control knob parts???

I wonder if there might be some of those on a specific year of Impala that would work. It seems like there are a few Impala parts that are the same as used on these trucks. I'm just not that familar with the Impala's with AC.
