Got my SMS 1965 custom seat fabric samples in the mail
I received my 1965 custom seat fabric samples in the mail, I compared them to an nos piece that the astronaut sent me and it is suprisingly close. There are slight differences but unless you had the two side by side you would never know.
SMS sent me a picture by email and the picture looked nothing like the original, it was green looking. I requested actual pieces of the fabric and it is nearly spot on! Pictures to follow

Yep, thats the exact stuff I have on my shelf for my seat. I think it was 465.00 for all of it.

found a guy willing to send me a bench seat cover of the same yr. ima make my pattern from it and he said i could keep it, hope its not too raty i pick up my machine next week

sure, he said he shipped friday so when i get it. ima see what im working with. i plan to label each panel, then bust the seams so i can lay em flat on my material and make markings for each panel and then i will tape the original back together as to orintate it for you. i'll call it the master template let everyone on the forum have a turn!!!! like a cheap wh**e

it calls for 6"full foam on the seat and ima use 2" on the back rest. not sure if ima use a cotton topper on both. u doing it or sending it out?
