Finally the bed is done

It seems like its been forever but got the paint done this weekend and the wood in today.

That thing is Awesome, Great Job! Can I ask where you got those tie downs that are in the corners? I have been looking for exactly that since my truck was finished.....

The tie downs came from a boat supplier the was selling stuff at last years Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach Speedway. All stainless and got them for $50 for all four!

PPG Shopline stuff, Viper Red Base, 630 clear.

Did it take many coats of base for full coverage? I have not used the Shopline. I priced Viper Red in DBC and it was $830.00/Gal which I can't justify.

viper red looks very close to the san marino red I used on my truck. That's going to be a whole lot of red when you get her all back together. People will see you coming!

There is only 2 coats of base and 3 of clear. It covers really well, most was covered with the 1st coat.
