Vintage air
Has anyone installed air conditioning using the vintage air system? I'm wondering what you thought of it and if there are any pictures. Thanks for any help.

Apparently it's too cold to talk about air conditioning. I just put VA in a 65 Chevelle. Pretty straightforward. We are thinking about putting VA in the Blazer.

I have Vintage Air in my truck. Its worth every penny. No specific pics of the install other then whatever is caught in pics in my build thread below. Sure cleans up the engine compartment.

Started installing mine a little at a time. Worked on the interior yesterday installing the vents in the dash. So far that has been the hardest part. Really need to be careful and measure multiple times to make sure you got it just right. Once the hole is there. It's there!
A couple more days and I will let ya know. All I got left is wiring and charging the system. I figured I would install while cooler. No more sweating in the summer in the ol truck. Lol.

I put an old air products under dash unit in my 67 for basically 2 reasons over vintage air #1 it just looks old school and #2 its easier to install , but like the first poster said its too cold to talk about air conditioning right now LOL I actually turned mine on a few minutes a couple weeks ago to make sure it was still gassed up worked fine BRING ON TH E SUMMER HEAT ! I just hope it don't frikkin rain all summer this year like it has the last two years ,

I have the Chevelle evacuated and ready to go, but theirs something just wrong about charging an air conditioner in this kind of weather.

I just finished putting that setup in my 68. You need to do a lot of test fitting and measuring before you install. Don't get in a hurry!! I really like the way it came out and will be doing a similar setup on my son's 68.

I've got VA in my '65 GTO and I love it! So I purchased a kit for my '71, but haven't started installing it yet. It wasn't hard to install on my GTO and I don't expect it to be any more difficult in my C10.
