My truck originally, Chevy 6 cyl. stepside, short bed. Not sure if the rear end is original although with all the rust and grime I am guessing it is.

I dont know what mine is

its an original equipment positraction axle in my 1971 Chevy 1/2 ton. 3:07 ratio and I do know that it has springs and clutches. Anyone able to expalin to me what mine is called?

Figment412, I don't know how many spiders in that pumpkin. Each time the ring and pinion were changed I had a rear shop do the work.

1/2 ton Chevy, whimpy 3.07 one-legger gears in a 12-bolt Coporate. Think it is starting to go out since it is now 1/4 of the way through wearing out 350 engine #3
