Re: rear fender patch panels

Couldn't find anything either. Going to junkyard this afternoon to see what they might have I could use as a donor - not holding out much hope.

Would like to hear what you came up with to patch the rear of the wheel arch on the rear fender

Please post it up if you find something that works

Phil

Do you need a driver side or passenger side? Alaska gasser sold me a front section of a rear fender for the passenger side. He also has some friends with some panel trucks. Maybe send him a picture of what you need.

Re: rear fender patch panels

I picked up some fenders from CL and it looks like something came off the passenger rear wheel and hit the wheel arch directly in front of the strut for about 4". Someone must have cut the metal and about 4" of the last part of the rolled edge of the fender arch.

The attached picture is of the drivers side showing the missing area between the area (this is the good one)

If anyone has a junk fender they're going to scrap where this part is good, I'd like to buy it form you if you'll cut that part out and send it to me.

Re: rear fender patch panels

Phil, post a picture of the area needing repair. I hand formed mine. Is the area where the inner fender brace rivets to the fender lip?
