AM Radio with Aux MP3 Ipod conversion

Gentlemen,

I have for sale an original AM Radio that has been converted with an auxilary input jack that will work with your iPhone, iPod or MP3 player. There is an aux. jack mounted in the rear of the radio which allows a cord to be plugged into the back and run through either the glove box or the ash tray to connect to your audio device's headphone jack. The aux. jack could be relocated to another location on the radio, if desired. I don't like the jack in the radio face, which is why this one has the jack in the back of the radio, in an existing hole in the case.

For a serious buyer, I have short video clips (with audio) showing the radio working in AM, and also working with my iPhone with Pandora.

The top of the case is rusty. But none of it can be seen when the radio is mounted in the dash. The chrome face has the typical light pitting on the chrome. the The radio lights up and works fine.

$100 shipped Priority Mail and double boxed to help it survive the trip. Includes deluxe knobs as shown in the picture.

If needed, the dash bracket can be included for an extra $10 or the 3 ft cord connecting the radio to your device can be included for an extra $10.

How does it sound? Did they replace all of the guys in it? If so what is the wattage? Interested!

Re: AM Radio with Aux MP3 Ipod conversion

The auxiliary port was hard wired into the radio. Without a device plugged in, it works as a stock AM radio.

This is just a stock radio that is now MP3/iPhone/iPod capable. It is still a 40 year old radio that only has out put for a single speaker. With a new 10ohm speaker it sounds good. But it isn't going to knock your ball cap off.

This is perfect for someone that wants the look of the original radio, but doesn't want to be limited to listening to only AM when driving.

Send me a PM with your email address and I've got a short video clip of the radio playing Pandora from my iPhone through it. It sounds good, for being 40 year old technology.

The auxiliary jack can be relocated to another location on the radio. I run the chord through the ash tray, or it could be run through the glove box.
