Ways to secure items in the bed?(anchortrax)

[URL="[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-3976-Anchortrax-Universal/dp/B001QVTJCW/ref=pd_sim_auto_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=1EJ2E4XQMJNJE9H8X05B"]http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-3976-Anchortrax-Universal/dp/B001QVTJCW/ref=pd_sim_auto_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=1EJ2E4XQMJNJE9H8X05B"]Amazon.com: Mr. Gasket 3976 6' Anchortrax Universal Truck Kit: Automotive[/ame]

Has anyone put this item in the bed of their truck? I have my step-side off right now and am getting it all ready to go back on and am looking at putting these at the top of my bed to allow me to secure items in the truck. At this price with the current discount it even beats my employee discount at Orielly's. Look for the positive or negative feedback either way.
Since I have my rear fenders off it should be pretty easy to mount.

Thanks in advance.

I used these. They are ~$8 a pair at Home Depot. I have them in the rail and bed.

I put some of those on my truck. I kind of hated to drill holes in my bed, but being a stepside I really didn't have any thing to tie off to and liked the functionality of these. You cannot see the mounting bolts from the outside as they are covered by the bed rail. I got them at O'Reilly's. Seems like they were about $40???

That is exactly what I am looking at but the six foot versions as I will be hauling anything and everything. Overall functionality good for you? Any complaints except having to drill?
Thanks

No complaints. They feel pretty stout like they could hold quite a bit of weight. I've mostly used them to keep my ice chest from sliding around.

Thanks Flatpat. I think it matches the truck pretty well.
