to put in now or not to? poll?

so in the middle of my swap, and I've heard to some say to put the engine in when i get my harness and ecu back, just looking for some advice....how hard is it to put the harness while its in the vehicle? i just feel like there is so much i can get accomplished while its in the truck...

putting a 5.3 into a 84 k10, should have mentioned that...just want to get as much done while waiting on the last of the parts

I don't see why it would be any harder to wire the engine while it's already installed. The only way I have ever finished a project is by never stopping.

I saw install the engine, and get what you can done.

The minor inconveniences of having the the motor in will be by far outweighed by getting stuff done.

In my project I dropped the motor first since I needed the harness from my running truck. Either way it should add only 30 minutes of trouble to my build, but I am 5 days ahead had I waited.

I would throw the engine in now,This way you know how much room you got for the wiring and can make it look factory or hide it all.
