Alternator belt squeaks
My alternator is adjusted as tight as it can be. Has a new belt. I could get a shorter belt but the alt hit the valve cover when I put the new belt on. I could not get a shorter belt on. Does any one sell a longer arm so I could adjust it tighter?

Re: Alternator belt squeaks
You might check with Summit or Jegs and see if their similar bracket is longer than your original:
