san diego club info
We had a good meeting, making some progress.
Club name, we all decided that "Classic GM Truck Club of San Diego" was very good but we are still open for other ideas, if this sticks for a couple of weeks then we'll make it offical. Dave aka sidestepper was good enough to write up some info on our Purpose, Founding Members and General Membership. At our next meeting I'll have copies for those of you that were not able to make it last night. Our next truck meet, what do you guys think about, I'm just thowing a date out there, 8/30? it's a Saturday. |

There were 7 or 8 of us last night but it wasn't really to show our trucks, it was really to discuss the club, we met at Boll Weevil and talked over a burger. 8/30 is a Saturday, what do you guys think?

Dion, just a small "correction" regarding the club name. I would propose to delete the word ... club.
So the name reads CLASSIC GM TRUCKS of SAN DIEGO. What do you think? Did you have a chance to talk with Ron about attending the Car Club Concil maybe in September. Also FYI, I made an error on the day they meet. The Concil meets the 1st TUESDAY of each month, not Wednesday. |

Oh............I wanted to mention, that at the 7-24-03 meeting we agreed that CLASSIC GM TRUCKS of SAN DIEGO would include all "1972 and older" GMC & Chevy trucks. The intent is to allow all the 60's, 50's, etc. back to the beginning of time, into our club. In reality I expect that the vast majority will be 67-72 vintages.
This is a very important issue to agree upon prior to us attending the Concil meeting. Any discussion is welcome. |
