I have a 66 Pickup and have installed a 1972 tilt column and an trying to match the wires so I will have a horn and turn signals.

The Drawing I have shows

Green(RR)---------------Violet (I do not have this color on the 66)
Yellow(LR)---------------Pink (I do not have this color on the 66)
Dark Blue(RF)------------Dark Blue
Light Blue(LR)------------Light blue
White(stop)--------------White
Purple(supply)------------Yellow
Brown(Hazard)
Black (horn)--------------Dark Green/Brown

Can anyone help me with this Problem?

Re: 1972/1966

The diagram MusicMan70 posted matches up to what is shown in the original GM wiring diagrams. They show the same colors for both 1966 and 1972 with the only difference being the lack of a brown hazard flasher wire in 66.

If you want to make the 72 hazard flasher button functional in your 66, all you need to do is run the brown wire to one terminal of a 4-lamp flasher relay. And connect the other terminal of that flasher relay to a fused +12V supply.
