WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
Getting ready to send my wheels off to be powder coated, and thought I would make a last attempt to track down a pair of 15x8 6 lugs stock wheels.
I have all the parts on the way to do my drop and disk swap on my 70. I thought I had a pair 3 times here locally over the last few weeks and non panned out. If you have a pair you would like to sell, let me know. |

Re: WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
Are you looking for the newer 71-87 4-nub style or original 3-nub steelies? Both will take a 10-1/8" hub cap. I have 4 of the older 3-nub style wheels from my 70 K10. You can check my pics.

Re: WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
that's a good question, I had been thinking that I wanted the 4 nub as I know they will clear disks, but sense I will only be running them on the back, I guess the 3 nub wheels would work.
let me know if you will split them up and how much you want... |

Re: WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
Not sure if you know too that the back spacing is different. The 15X8 3-nub wheels have a nominal 3" backspace (actually like 2-3/4"). I believe the 6-lug 4-nub have 4" nominal backspace. I know my 73-87 rallies have 4" (actual 3-3/4") backspace.

Also, the 4 nub wheels work with disk brakes while the 3 nub will not.

Re: WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
I think I will have to pass on the early wheels, I am afraid that with lowering the truck and the reduced backspace, it may be a little tight on the fender well.

Re: WTB 15x8 6lug stock wheels
No problem at all. I have no problem in hanging on to them.
