Build Took a Turn

I can't wait any longer to say, my 1985 c20 to K30 body swap took a different direction last week when i was presented with the opportunity to purchase a truck Ive been trying to buy for almost 3 years. So now as I am going to part with my c20. I am the proud new owner of this 1979 K30 350 4spd sitting on Kelsey Hayes 16.5x9.75 rims 3inch suspension lift and 33x12.50 bfgs. sorrry for the bad pic It's still at my buddy's place till the 85 leaves. Ill get better pics as soon as i can.

Slick truck! I thought 78' was the last year for the gas cap on the bedside. I thought 79' had the gas flap?

Beautiful truck! Especially for Iowa. Will those Kelsey Hayes wheels accept factory dog-dish hub caps?

Re: Build Took a Turn

Thanks for the comments, They will accept hub caps just very difficult to find a good set that will fit a Dana 60 as they do not reproduce them and most are bent, as for sone interior shots ill try and get a couple in a few days they dont show up on phone real well in garage.

Re: Build Took a Turn

Nice looking truck, what rear bumper is on it, looking for something for my project. Are people restoring the tail gate bands or just waiting for a mint one to come up for sale?

Thats a Brute II bumper, and as for the tailgate bands i have seen no reproduction ones yet nor do i know of anyone restoring them, this one was one ordered through gm yet cost $550 when bought. called local gm dealer friday they are now discontinued.
