3 on the tree help
i googled and didnt come up with much i need pictures of what brackets mount to what shift linkage and what pin on the transmission and from that i should be able to figure out what goes into the colum at the top...my truck got stuck in first i yanked the linkages free but it just kept screwing up over and over again so i took everything abart and can get it to shift into reverse i used a pin on the colum to line up neutral and everything...the links on the trans look like the were welded and re angled so i think it might be that or a bent arm its just being a pain thanks

Re: 3 on the tree help
Could be a muncie like in this link. IF it has 4 bolts on the side cover and shift arms like the link pic.
If it's 7 bolt cover it's a saginaw. You might need to take us some pics of your linkage on the column and on the tranny, then we can see what you're talking about. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=621891 |

Whoa, those linkages look dodgy as.
Here's a post with some images of how they should look: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=6257877 |

Re: 3 on the tree help
Hey Nodd, If you want to have a look at my set up I'm down in Vic pretty regular. I run the 3ott, I-6 250, saginaw tranny. I had to source the column linkage from a farmers field, it works but it's sloppy. If you decide to have some bushings spun I'd like to go in on that with ya maybe we can split the set up costs?
Cheers, Rob. |
