Talking Not bad for 200.00

Recently bought a 78 Chevy LWB. Running project! So, opinions I'm asking for. Should I keep it stock or drop a inch or two? Matte it out , or stick with two tone?

Re: Not bad for 200.00

Eventually I wanna throw money into it. For now I wanna mess around with it. The 350 still runs strong....I've been looking and leaning towards my drop idea. Not a slam just a little drop..do a one color with the original trim pieces...something like this I know this is a swb, but I think this just looks to sweet for words I plan on keeping this truck for a long while

Re: Not bad for 200.00

Thanks y'all. I finally got something and I got a million ideas. Just torn. Motor wise for now I'd like to dress it up...new covers, breather, little stuff like that. It has the original 350/350. Of course was rebuilt, but runs like a bat.

Re: Not bad for 200.00

looks like a pretty good start for a $200 dollar truck! can't beat a nice two tone, id drop it a little then throw the whole thing in primer and drive the snot out of it! you could always paint it later on. and to lower it you can get some drop shackles and cut one coil off you're front springs- cheap and easy to do, also easy to change it back if you don't like the look.

Re: Not bad for 200.00

That's what I'm leaning towards. The hubby suggest to put the trim peices back on and just take the shine out with a two tone paint.I seen how easy it is to go back to stock, so I may drop a little just to do it...I still want a clean, cool, functional truck

This is what it could look like.

Then you decide.

Re: Not bad for 200.00

Put a flat bed on it, no paint, and drive the wheels off it. Seriously, that's a sweet deal for that truck.
