Did I go too Low?
I know the saying "too low" is not part of many threads, but I just threw my motor and tranny on my frame after installing 3-inch drop springs and 2-inch drop spindles and it sits LOW.
I'm not sure what tire size/rims I'll be using yet until I get the cab and box back on the frame to see where everything sits; but, am I asking for problems with a 5-inch static drop in the front with finding a tire/wheel combination that fits (6-lug)without any rubbing or bottoming-out issues?? I guess I should have asked this question prior to installing the 5-inch drop in the front.........I do love how it looks tho! |

Re: Did I go too Low?
It will go down about 2 more inches all together based on my 66. I have a set of 20" torque thrust 2's for my 65 and you would be ok with those.

Re: Did I go too Low?
Can I get you to share some pictures of your 66 with the torque thrusts; and what back space and tire size did you end up with?

Re: Did I go too Low?
Looks like pretty short tires. Going back with a 28" will gain you some height back. I've been going back and forth on wheel/tire sizes lately.
