Your park lights will go off when you turn you lights on. Think there is a way to change that but not sure what it is. I have a newer wiring harness on my front and mine stay on. You have some wires crossed somewhere to make them work with your brake lights.

BEFORE YA GO NUTS, MAKE SURE YOUR HAZARD/4-WAY SWITCH ISN'T STUCK IN THE "ON" POSITION. ALOT OF TIMES, FOR SOME REASON, THE SWITCH KNOB IS A REAL BEAR TO PULL BACK OUT AFTER TURNING IT ON. AS FOR THE PARKING LIGHTS, ONLY THE '67'S GO OUT WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS GO ON. YOU CAN CHANGE THIS BY REPLACING THE FRONT LIGHT HARNESS WITH A LATER ONE. I DID THIS WHEN I PUT '68 FENDER'S ON MY '67, AND WANTED TO WIRE UP THE SIDEMARKER LIGHTS. I USED A HARNESS FROM A '71, AND IT JUST PLUGS RIGHT IN. NO CUTTING OR SPLICING. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
